Soups and stews are something that I absolutely love cooking and eating; they are so versatile because they can go from being a casual meal to a dinner party meal with just the addition of some fresh bread, a glass of wine and a simple side salad.
Whether it is the spring, summer, fall or winter, there are always soup and stew options that can be made to showcase the season’s best produce. In the autumn and winter, various root vegetables, winter squash and earthy herbs make for a soup that is hearty and warming. During the spring and summer months, corn, leafy greens and fresh herbs make for refreshing soups that are light yet filling enough to be a meal.
Because soups are one of my favorite things to cook, I thought it would be fun to team up with some amazing food bloggers and create a collaboration that highlights and shares our love for soup! Soup Sundays is a collaboration that features a series of soup recipes from us during the month of September.
Here are the talented bloggers who will be contributing the the Soup Sundays collaboration:
Amanda of Crafty Cooking Mama
Annie of The Garlic Diaries
Alisha of Alisha Enid
Justine of Born and Bred in Brooklyn
Melissa and Gregg of My Wife’s Muffin
Thao of In Good Flavor
For the month of September, we will share some of their delicious soup recipes with you all and we hope that you will be inspired to try or recreate these dishes yourself! On Sundays, watch for the new links I will add in this post and check out the fabulous soups and stews that my friends and I have to offer 🙂
